What is included with a standard carpet cleaning?
A standard carpet cleaning includes pre-treatment, deodorizing, and carpet grooming as part of the cleaning process.
How long does carpet normally take to dry?
Most carpets dry within two to three hours. Conditions inside the home can affect the final drying time.
Can every stain be removed?
Most stains can be removed, but no cleaner can guarantee complete removal in every situation. Some red stains can be permanent. When necessary, carpet patching may be an option.
Do you treat pet stains and odors?
Yes. Team Steam offers treatments for pet stains and odors, including situations where contamination may have reached the carpet padding or subfloor.
What should I do before Team Steam arrives?
Please vacuum the area, move smaller items, secure your pets, and leave clear parking access for the truck-mounted equipment.
Do you move furniture?
Furniture can be moved for an additional charge. For safety and liability reasons, Team Steam does not move televisions, computers, or other electronics.
Are your cleaning products safe for children and pets?
Yes. Team Steam uses products that are appropriate for homes with children and pets. Organic deodorizer options are also available for certain jobs.
Why do some spots return after the carpet dries?
A spot can occasionally return when material absorbed into the carpet padding is pulled back toward the surface as the carpet dries. This process is commonly called wicking. If a spot returns, contact Team Steam within 24 hours so it can be evaluated.
What makes truck-mounted cleaning better than a rental machine?
Team Steam's truck-mounted system produces stronger suction and higher cleaning temperatures than typical rental or portable machines. This provides more powerful cleaning and extraction.
